Brief Project Description
The implementation of this project will enable the development of an air purification device designed to remove chemical, biological, or nuclear contaminants. The development of the device involves designing an efficient atmospheric filtration system that will ensure a high level of air quality. Tested and highly reliable methods will be applied to protect against the ingress of contaminated air into the protected space. The device will primarily be intended for the protection of smaller spaces, particularly households, located near major sources of pollution or infrastructure associated with a high risk of environmental incidents that could negatively affect air quality.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of the University of Zagreb.
Project Objectives and Expected Results
The project aims to develop and adapt components, including the device housing, motor with turbine, filter assembly, sensors, control system, battery, electronics, and control system, and integrate them into a functional prototype of a device and product that is not only new to the company’s product portfolio but also represents a new product for the market. This is the first development project carried out by the Beneficiary within the company, and its successful implementation will enable the creation of a distinctive proprietary product. For the developed product, the Beneficiary will pursue patent and trademark registration, further strengthening its market recognition and creating the conditions for significantly faster scaling and market expansion.
The implementation of the project will also increase the Beneficiary’s capacity to carry out research and development activities, establish effective cooperation with the scientific and research sector, and create the foundations for future innovation development activities.
